| Timothy Murphy Merit Store opened on February 26, 2008. Funded by the Godmothers, it is a wonderful way to motivate the students to complete school work, respect teachers, administration and others, plus be overall good citizens of TMS. The students earn points, managed and recorded by the teachers; they then visit the store each week where they can spend those points or save them for a larger purchase. The store contains items ranging from art supplies to MP-3 players, toys, games, sports items, sunglasses, wallets, watches, etc. The store also has a treat section containing granola bars, chips, fruit snacks, ice cream sandwiches, healthy flavored waters, etc. The Merit Store is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM.
